Book On 2012 – The Authorities On The 2012 Prophecies
Some say that we are living the age that has been prophesied many centuries ago. A time wherein all the ancient prophecies are being revealed. If this is true, there is no better way to know the truth than reading a good book on 2012.
There are numerous books written about the coming end of times and plenty more are expected to be published as the year 2012 draws to a close. But be vigilant – not all books are good, there are only a few that you can rely on and these have been around for many centuries.
The Christian holy book, the Bible.
When it comes to prophecies, the Holy Bible has an unblemished record. The Old and the New Testament both provide predictions that have been fulfilled before and others that are yet to be revealed.
The Old Testament predicted the coming of the Messiah and the circumstances in the life of the Messiah. These predictions have been fulfilled with the birth of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. The Holy Bible also prophesies in detail the Second Coming of Jesus Christ complete with descriptions about how He will establish his kingdom on Earth. Many believe that many of the prophecies are being revealed now; many more will be fulfilled in the very near future.
Although there is no specific date that was mentioned in the Bible – for the day and hour is unknown – Christians are commanded to learn from the lessons of the fig tree or the Jewish land, Israel. When its twigs become tender and its leaves begin to come out, that is the signal that the end is truly near.
The Prophecy of the Popes According to St. Malachy and the Predictions of Pope Leo XIII.
Known for its accuracy, the Prophecy of the Popes is a document attributed to the St. Malachy. It describes the last 122 popes that will rule the Roman Catholic Church – beginning from the pontificate of Pope Celestine II whose papacy began in 1143 and ending with the papacy of Petrus Romanus or Peter the Roman, the final pope of the Church.
If the prophecies of St. Malachy stick with its record for accuracy, Pope Benedict the XVI, the Gloria Olivae, is the second to the last pope.
Pope Leo XIII, too, laid down his prediction. In 1514, Pope Leo XIII, too prophesied about the apostasy in the Roman Catholic Church which will happen 500 years after his vision.
On a less religious note, the following are books that many claim to have predictions and prophecies that will occur during our generation.
Nostradamus and the Nostradamus Vatinicia Code.
Michel de Notredame or Nostradamus was made famous or infamous by his dire predictions, which many believe have started to unfold ages and ages ago and will end in the not so distant future. In 1994, the lost book of Nostradamus was found to contain images prophesying the end of times. The images contained in this book are said to be interpretations of Nostradamus’s prophetic quatrains as well as other revealing predictions.
The Maya Long Count Calendar, the prophecies of the Oracle Sybil, the Prophecies of Mother Shipton, the Prophecies Of Merlin Or the Prophetiae Merlini, and the Hopi Prophecies.
Many things have been said about the individual predictions prophesied in these sources and plenty of books have been written and published about them. Look up a book on 2012 that covers any of these startling prophecies.
