Men’s Fashion : Tips For Looking Good
Now that the grinding, aggravating work day is done, it is time to hit the town for a fun, relaxing evening. Don’t forget to look nice while you are out there, though, because you take pride in yourself, right? It is not too hard to wear fashionable men’s clothing for a night out because it usually consists of comfortable, casual items.
As the calendar shows its age and fall has set in, sweaters begin to show up. If you have a particular sweater in beige or white that you really like, go ahead and put it on. No whites after Labor Day is a concept that no longer applies to the tolerant world of men’s fashion. If you are going out on the town in the cold of winter, drape a scarf around your neck that matches or complements your sweater. If you don’t wish to feel weighed down with a sweater, put on a long-sleeved button down plaid shirt. This style has continuously resisted changing trends and is appropriate all year long. If you get too warm wearing in late spring and summer, just roll up the sleeves and you will still look good and be comfortable.
Jeans are a historically safe choice for bottoms that don’t clash with anything. Though perfectly acceptable, they are now rather commonplace. Khakis and other comparable slacks are a little more attractive. If you are wearing slacks, although the old Labor Day adage no longer applies, it is still a good idea to wear darker tones in the winter. Avoid pleated pants because they are a little too formal for a relaxing night out. Flat-fronted khakis and slacks are still chic without being arrogant. Wear a black or brown belt to really set off the outfit.
Loafers are always a safe bet to complete your ensemble. They go great with a number of combinations, but can be a bit uncomfortable. Thankfully, men’s fashion trends now include sneakers. Of particular popularity are black leather sneakers. They don’t clash with much of anything and the leather construction is durable, providing at least two years of foot comfort. They are great because you don’t have to spend any brain power on what to put on your feet.
Fashionable men’s clothing for a night out is not difficult to find. It is usually casual and comfortable and perfectly fine to combine the two. As long as you’re not slumming it, you should get some looks while you enjoy the evening.
